As many of you know we get our clothes from JJ, Nana & MawMaw, hand me downs from Susan, Bonnie & Beth and then there is the twice a year Trinity Consignment Sale.
We love the consignment sale. We got so many great items. I just wish I had hired a sitter so that I could spend more time digging. Saturday morning of the sale is 1/2 off all consigned items so you can get some really good deals. The best part is that the majority of the proceeds goes to community projects in Augusta, Georgia (which are much needed in Augusta as in many cities in the US).
Here we are trying on some of our new duds. Woodson is in his "camo" pants ($1.50). They are a little big, but I think they will fit by the time he needs to wear pants. Mercer Anne's little red coat ($10). (We didn't really need this as we had a hand-me-down coat, but it was so cute I had to have it - plus I love red.)
And Woodson again showing off his red romper ($2). I wish I had done a whole fashion show but it is too much work. And everyone will eventually get to see their new clothes as they wear them. We did get a few smocked outfits which ran about $10-15 each but given the full price version of these smocked clothes are anywhere from $45 to $85 I feel like we got a deal!
Such a savvy mommy! We have been luck enough to find some great clothing at a twice-a-year local consighment sale and borrow as well. I shop Ebay for their clothes also. Thankfully, the g-parents love to shop for the girls, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! HOW DARLING they will look thanks to mommy's 'hard work.' Love the red coat on MA...omg!
