The Rutherford twins have started their tailgating career at the Duke vs. Carolina football game. Emmett and Mercer Anne came dressed to impress with their carolina gear on...Woodson doesn't like the elastic on his Carolina gear and mom forgot his personalized UNC sweatshirt in the frenzy to make sure the adult beverages were in the car (mom of the year) so he came out in his Bryn Mawr sweatshirt that was a great gift from his second cousin (or first cousin once removed?) but I am not sure if they have a football team...sorry Woodson. (major run on sentence here but I don't feel like fixing it....just saying, I KNOW)
Anyway, the Rutherfords enjoyed their time with the Avettas and Rufus despite bad directions (on the part of the Rutherfords to the Avettas) and poor choice of parking (again on the part of the rutherfords) which required walking no less than two miles to the stadium carring babies and toddlers. Maybe the fun was just in the leftover Coors Light from Thanksgiving?
