So, turns out I only have pictures of our kids playing in a pool with another kid in less than what I would call "appropraite wear" for the internet.
As we have moved into this newer rental house, we left our first "home" behind. This was about 4 days after the twins were born and we were headed to our first new baby doctor appointment.
Boy were we tired. Kind of puts "tired" in perspective for me. Nothing like laboring for 18 hours, pushing one baby out and then hearing...DO IT AGAIN!
Anyway, we had many firsts ourselves in that house: first home purchase, first furniture purchase, first (maybe last!?) pregnancy, first time to bring twins home, first dog, first attempt at selling house, first steps our babies took, first words they spoke. As much trouble as (not) selling that house has given me, I miss it. And I am sure glad I have those wonderful memories!
Too funny...I just posted about missing our old house too! Ah, the memories thanks to our sweet babies. Hope you all are getting settled. Email me where you are because we are coming later this summer. Let's get together with kids. xo
