milestones

We've been hitting a lot of milestones lately. One of the biggest was our transition from cribs to big boy/big girl beds. The twins were so much more ready for this than me. I found these two solid wood bed frames/mattresses/box springs on craigslist for $140 total. So I bought them. And of course I bought thomas the train sheets for their new beds. These pictures were taken the first night. No problems sleeping here!

We have encountered some nap time drama. While at night they will lay down in the same room and go to sleep, we still can't nap in the same room. And since they are not confined, the get out and move around. Even Woodson who LOVES a good nap. So one gets the pack n play and the other gets the bedroom to themselves.

MA had the bedroom on Tuesday. Much to my dismay we had a poop and diaper removal episode, again. This time, there was no crib to confine the mess. It took a combined effort of about 2.5 hours to clean it up. Mom and dad were not happy. Clearly we are being sent a message to potty train this girl. I am sparing you the pictures I took to prove to dad that when he got home, I had in fact cleaned 3/4 of it up already.
