spoiled weekend

This past weekend (Thurs - Saturday) we went to visit my mom at wrightsville beach. She spoiled all three of us rotten! She got the twins some new fall clothes - precious skirts & dresses for Mercer Anne and some nice collared shirts for Woodson. Mom (aka JJ) has also picked up my knack for consignment shopping which lets you get so much more for your money and usually some higher quality items if you look hard enough:-). She took us to Dockside for lunch Friday and we watched the boats on the waterway which the twins loved.

Friday afternoon we went to Johnny Mercer's pier and played around watching the fishermen and the waves roll in. We also did a bit of running up and down the pier. Then we went to dinner at a mexican restaurant (theme of our life with the twins) but was such a nice outing for this mom! Mom also treated me to a pedicure - yay!!! It was a fund weekend and the twins were so sad to leave JJ on Saturday afternoon, but have been placated knowing they get to see her Friday night for Music on the Porch in Chapel Hill!!
