Twins!

Taco and Chalupa (Mercer Anne and Woodson) were born on July 2 & 3, 2009, respectively. I can't believe they are almost 4 months old. I am such a bad blogger. I vow to write at least a quick blog each week.

These guys are getting so big, so fast. I feel like I drop them off at daycare in the morning and they are bigger by the afternoon.

We are working on adjusting to me going back to work and Richard being in school. I feel like a single mom sometimes trying to get them out the door, to daycare and then go to work, pick them up and get everything ready for the next day. It boggles my mind how single mothers take care of their children - both physically and financially.

Amazingly, I am able to nurse both babies. I never thought I would be able to, but I have an amazing husband who is really, really wonderful and supportive of nursing. I also have many wonderful friends who have been there to cheer me on. While I am not sure how much longer I will nurse I am thankful for the special bond I feel it creates between a mom and her children.

Anyway, I have found a few good products that have helped me along. Diapers.com is my favorite place ever. Although they gross up the price, you can't beat the delivery speed and the selection of items. They literally have everything. Without diapers.com I would have had to go to the store and it is really, really hard to go to the store with two babies and buy "big" items like diapers. Bumpy orbit labels are my second favorite thing. They are these little plastic things that have the babies names on them so that I don't have to write their name on their bottles every day. I keep them on and sterilize the bottles with the name tag. It is perfect and saves around 5 minutes a day. And, 5 minutes is a really long time for a gal that has twins.

I am attaching a picture of them picking out their pumpkin.
