Christening

Today the Twins (Mercer Anne & Woodson) were Christened. YAY! We now have little Christian twins:-). Here we are before the "big" day. We had so many visitors that it was hard to pick who would be pictured, so I acutally pictured no one except for us (the blogger only lets me show 4 pictures per blog).

Woodson and Mercer Anne were slightly squeezed into their gowns. Woodson really couldn't have made it another week and still fit into his gown. He wore Richard's gown - his zipper was at half -mast. Mercer Anne was in a slightly better situation but not much. She wore the "Rowe" gown - I wore it and many of my cousins wore it. We just couldn't button it.

The church had these banners made for the twins - it was really sweet. The twins barely made a peep throughout the service and Woodson gave her the biggest grin when he was Christened. Mercer Anne cried a bit but was extremely sweet the entire ceremony. We had so much food and family (and my friend Steph!), we felt truly blessed. Thank you to all who made the trip down.
