Yes, Woodson is crawling. We saw the "official" crawl on Saturday and since then he has been moving out. He sees what he wants and now he can go get it. Watch out!
Woodson likes to help with the laundry...mostly unfolding things that I have folded. To prevent him from unfolding the things I had folded, I decided I would temporarily place him in the "clean but not folded" pile so he could tear it up there and not disturb my "folded" piles.
He has picked up another trick...clapping! If he hears music he likes, he will just start clapping...but if you do it too, he stops to watch you.
The trash can is definitely one of his new favorite toys. He has figured out that he can crawl over to the trash can, turn it over and bang on it. He also does this in his high chair when he is hungry (but not turning over the high chair, just banging on it). Be sure, the days are fun with these guys. They are so cute!
"Why am I in this laundry basket? This is ridiculous, mom"
ReplyDeleteLet's see: banging on things, crawling everywhere, smacking food into the carpet, speaking the unknown tongue, turning over wastebaskets, cackling, swinging, clapping, head bobbing, unfolding laundry, grabbing things, the Dracula move, and lightning wrestling moves. Time for the Fisher Price drum set?
ReplyDeleteWait, is that an open mouth Mercer Anne smile in picture number 3?
ReplyDeleteIt kind of looks like it from this photo...but in reality she is "tuning up":-)
