Blog Insecurities

Hi there blogland....

Recently I have been "blog stalking".  I think it is equivalent to what I did when I was getting married.  Why I feel the need to confess what many of you already know I am not sure.  In 2005 I spent hours looking at every single person's registry that was getting married to see what they were getting.  Then I would go back to my registry and make changes adding and deleting items when I found mine inadequate or superfluous.  This will not be a surprise to most, but I did the exact same thing when I was pregnant...maybe not to the same extent because my bedtime was exactly equal to the time when I arrived home from work. 

All this to say...you will see some changes coming to the blog (like the new background which I don't really like).  Some of them good, some bad and some ugly.  (Yes, I am full of cliche's.)  Don't worry, I am just trying these things out and since I am determined not to spend a penny, they all have to be "free" changes.

Hopefully none will result in they at one time "angry" blog which started spamming people when I added what I thought was a "counter" so that everyone could see the number of visitors.  (We are over 4,000 by the way).  That was a majorly failed attempt.

I just wanted to give ya'll the heads up, my dear invisible and not so invisible friends.  Two blogs which have spurned my feelings of inadequacy and subsequent blog stalking are the following:

www.thepreggopage.com and www.blessthisnest.blogspot.com

How do they make them look so nice?  I just can't figure it out.
