This week my friend Jen lent me some sunglasses that her son Cade wore when he was a bit younger. Given we were getting ready to go to the beach, I thought we could try on the sunglasses this morning to get in the mood. Of course Woodson is playing it cool in his 80's style shades and my Diva Daughter hammed it up in the other two pairs. We made it safely to the beach today with only one, yes I said "1", stop (albeit a 45 minute stop at McDonalds where I witnessed a mom with triplets deal wrangle her kids to the bathroom only to watch one throw up in her hands - um, gross, but I felt for the lady for sure). Mom drove so I could pass sippy cups, puffs, toys and paci's around the back seat. I will have some good blogging material this week so stay tuned! Can't wait to see everyone on Saturday.
PS - if you are coming, you may want to get here on the early side of 10 am (930) because it is July 4th weekend at the beach and parking will be tough! Bring quarters or google the new "wrightsville beach parking" pay via telephone number. You have to
