We had another birthday celebration this weekend. We celebrated Granny's birthday (88), Dad's birthday (58 - although he thought it was 57 ;-)) and Richard's again (29)! Granny blew out the birthday candles - Go Granny! We celebrated Masten style with brownies (see picture below of Woodson), cupcakes (see picture of Mercer Anne) and lots of posed pictures. I love the last one. We have four generations - look at all those handsome Mastens! Poor Granny probably has a bruise on the back of her head from where MA kicked her non-stop during the photshoot. At 88, Granny is one of the most patient and loving women I know! Too bad I didn't get the patient gene.
Thanks for all of your comments regarding the debacles of last week. I made it though - no broken bones, only one bottle of wine and no trips to the emergency room. Good mom? Check!
Unfortunately I will be taking off to Tampa tomorrow and leaving the twins for the first time - eek! - so brace yourself for a brief hiatus from T&C. If I have a break, I will post a couple of winners from this weekend.
love to all,
morgan

Love Woodson snorting brownie, and Mercer Anne kicking Granny, and the smiles of all the happy Mastens. The twins are lucky indeed to have those wonderful relatives.
