We have a tradition in my family which includes making toll house cookies (from scratch) for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve (or really close to Christmas Eve). So today, we whipped out the Kitchen Aid and made some toll-house cookies. We had a few tears, a few bite wounds, time outs and maybe a total breakdown, but we have home-made cookies for Santa. Maybe slice and bake next year? The good news is that I know Mercer Anne is relate to me because she likes the dough more than the cookies!
