I know you have been anxiously awaiting a post from me but I have been busy with the Junior League and taking care of my two sweet kiddos!
We are working on Holiday Market which is a shopping fundraiser that will be held at the Durham Marriott Convention Center on November 19th! Tickets for daytime shopping are $5. Kids under 12 are free and Santa will be there! $5 is a small price to pay for no Santa line and escape from having to go to the mall! Tickets will be sold at the door.
There will be over 50 vendors there selling gifts, clothing, housewares, paper products, crock pot supplies - you name it, we've got it! AND there will be door prizes!
If daytime shopping isn't your thing, please feel free to buy a ticket to our Silver Belles & Beaus party which starts at 5PM and goes until 8PM. There will be a cash bar, complimentary hors d'oeurves a fashion show and a raffle for some fabulous gift packages.
Tickets for the Silver Belles & Beaus gets you into daytime (10 to 4) shopping at no additional charge. Tickets for this event are $25 or $40 per person.
Tickets can be purchased online by going to the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties website (www.jldoc.org) and clicking on the calendar on the right hand side of the page for Holiday Market. This will lead you to the Holiday Market section of the Junior League website where you can buy tickets.
