Christmas Celebration with JJ & Granddaddy

We celebrated Christmas with JJ & Granddaddy over the weekend with a fabulous BBQ lunch and gift exchange and then a trip to Bullock, NC for the Capps family Christmas party. We all had a great day.

Above MA & Woodson are opening their "easel" which is definitely a hit and might take the prize for best gift this year. Who knew?
I just love this pic of MA, she looks so grown up!

Woodson opening his "truck" lunchbox from Michael & Erica and below MA is opening her peter rabbit. Turns out they both LOVED the peter rabbit because is plays the night night song, but they have been doing a great job of sharing.

And Richard was there! Woot, woot! We rarely see him anymore so he was the main appearance:-) Below is the put together the easel party. MA & Woodson helped granddaddy and daddy put the easel together - they did a great job!

And of course, the box the easel came in has stood the test of toddler favorite toys. It really doesn't matter what you give them, the box (Woodson's truck) is sometimes the best gift of all! What a wonderful Christmas celebration with my family!!!!

  1. The girls were handed down an easel from their cousins and they are obsessed with it! Also, I notice MA is writing with her left hand. Do you think she'll be left handed? We have noticed that RL does most things with her right hand and CA does everything with her left. I have heard that's quite common with twins.
