Richard here. Thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from Woodson and Mercer Anne
Woodson's unique vocabulary:
Chocacle : definition: popsicle. "I want a chocacle NOW, Dad!"
Rollerpop: definition: lollipop. "I want a rollerpop, NOW, Dad!"
Nuffin: definition: English Muffin. "May I please have a nuffin, Dad?" (Haha I wish)
Worcestershire: definition: Bulldozer. Ok, so he can actually say bulldozer now, but it started out as worcestershire, which threw us for a little while until we figured it out.
By the way, if there are any popsicle manufacturers reading this blog, we would like a slice of any money made from chocacles, if you ever decide to make any. I don't know what they are, but they sound delicious.
Mercer Anne is at this stage a little more polished. Morgan, of course has a lot more quotes to choose from but some of my favorites this year have been:
"Is that my daddy?" So far I have only heard her ask this about me. I don't know (and don't want to know) if this happens in public, when pointing to other people, which would be a little embarassing.
"Are you so tired, Daddy?" Kind of like when someone tells you look exhausted, which is a nice way of saying you don't look so good.
"Your hair looks great, Daddy." Seriously. She said this while touching my hair. It did, as a matter of fact, look great, but I think she overheard Morgan talking to a girlfriend and decided to try the line out on me in an effort to push back bedtime.
Morgan, thanks for taking lots of pictures, writing about our family and for taking such good care of us,
Love
MA, Woodson and The Daddy
