I know it has been a long time since you have heard from me on a real time basis. Most of the posts you have read since February 15th were written then and just "posted" later. Lets just say, the wait was long for Elizabeth Grace and then the two weeks following her birth were rough. So rough in fact that my body was physically worn down and I managed to not only get mastitis but also the flu. YES!
Something you should know about me is that I just don't get sick. My definition of sick = migraine headache. Don't get me wrong a good migraine can make you feel the way you do when you are sick, but I just don't get sick, EVER. I got to go the ER with wait for it...a temp of 104 and a pretty seriously worried husband. So my kids spent the weekend with Richard's parents and upon my mom's arrival back into the USA she got to get in the car and come straight to Durham to care for me and my baby.
Due to the weakened immune system, we decided it would be best if the twins stayed away for a few more days until I got a little more rest. So they headed with JJ to the beach for a few more days while I recouperate. After she picked the twins up this morning, she headed back to Durham so I could visit with them before they left (don't worry, I have been fever free for 24 hours so I am not joyfully spreading the flu to my unassuming children). I have missed them so much and I feel like they are a little mad at me for either physically and / or mentally not being with them for the past two weeks. They are my little darlings and I know they have been in such good hands, but it is hard for a mom to let go sometimes:-(.
I took the above picture of MA one day last week when I managed to get Elizabeth Grace (yes, we still haven't decided what to "call" her) to sleep between lunch and the twins naptime. So we played dress up in the playroom. She is such a girl and LOVES pink. I think she could wear pink 24 hours a day and that would suit her just fine.
The below picture of Woodson was taken Friday night after a particularly rough bedtime. Partially because I was starting to feel badly, and partially because the twins were overtired after not napping well. He got up after MA fell asleep and I started watching a movie while I fed Elizabeth Grace. He came and snuggled on the couch with us until Dad got home. He was so happy:-) And spoiled.

Oh no, poor thing! So sorry you have been sick. I know MA and Woodson have missed you. The girls get mad at me when I have a busy schedule and they don't get to see me (my week last week). Thank goodness for our mamas! I hope you are feeling better soon!! Take care!
