My mom and Steve (JJ & Granddaddy) kept the twins while I was at the hospital. I was so grateful to not have to worry about them and to have one night at home before we became a family of 5 (yikes!). They had a blast while they were gone and were excited to meet "little sister". Mom and Steve prepped them and they came in bearing gifts for sweet Elizabeth Grace. I cannot describe how I felt when they walked in the door with their big smiles - they melted my heart. They were both incredibly sweet with her then.
Woodson and Mercer Anne took turns holding her (with our help, of course) and they were both very excited. It was a strange day because mom and steve dropped the twins off and Richard went back to work within about an hour of each other and I got to be mom to three all at once:-). I was scared.
We made it through the day and I was thrilled their first introduction went so well!
