Miracle Mile

As you all know, I am still trying to meet my goal of 250 miles by November 6 for www.swatforemily.blogspot.com. So, I thought I would go ahead and support Breast Cancer by doing a three mile walk Saturday morning around augusta. This was a family friendly walk and EVERYONE was decked out in pink. It would have been perfectly acceptable to dress Woodson in pink too. I wish I had my video camera because they played so much music and everyone was dancing as a "warm-up" (and I mean everyone, just like everyone was wearing pink). You had to dance, just like you had to buy a pink t-shirt. Mercer Anne and Woodson were getting down.

We took a detour in the middle of the walk to go to the Augusta Market on the River and picked up some breakfast and entertain the little ones. It was a great start to Saturday morning.
