Christmas Eve with the Rutherford Twins

On Christmas eve we dressed in our Christmas finest and watched "The Grinch". The twins were mesmerized for the first five minutes and then they lost interest...I feel sure that next year they will watch the whole thing. We didn't try to go to church with the little ones, so instead we took a family walk. We ended the day by reading Twas the night before Christmas which was sweet and the kids seem to enjoy. The only wrench that was thrown our way was Woodson's projectile vomiting. We had fun calling the nurse hotline and making a trip out for pedialyte on Christmas eve. Turns out they think he is allergic to the formula we are trying to give him so we will have to figure something else out.

  1. Re Mercer Anne:

Zip, Walter Lippman wasn't brilliant today,
Zip, will Saroyan ever write a great play?
