We had a long weekend...As some of you know, we are preparing to sell our house. Next March we will find out if we will be in Augusta, GA or someplace else. Either way, we have decided we need an apartment or townhouse as we are not "yard" people. Yes, you guessed it, we are selling our house.
In order to do that we decided to give the outside a fresh coat of paint. We were not prepared for the oil based primer smell which permeated the inside of our house...so we left and stayed around the corner at the Partridge Inn (not impressed, btw).
These kids were very good despite having another family come all the way into our room (yes, the PI gave another family a key to our room) before they realized there were other people in here and GASP not one but TWO SLEEPING BABIES. For whatever reason, when people realize that they just get louder...haven't figured that out yet. Then again, the PI came down to tell us at 430 am that our "cab was waiting for us". Another weird one that woke that babies up.
We made it, and the babies were good. Mom was a little stir crazy and so happy to be back in the house after the tiny hotel room with two babies experience for 48 hours.
These pictures are just some fun ones...Susan lent us some clothes for MA and I turned around for a few minutes and came back to find Woodson pulling them all out onto the floor. Mercer Anne does her gum less smile for the camera. And the last two pictures are what happens when the twins find Mom's people magazine...Woodson thought the pages were delicious and Mercer Anne loved the sound of ripping the pages. Mommy learned a lesson...don't leave anything within their reach!
These guys are so much fun! I love every day.
Mercer Anne admits nothing! Woodson is happy eating paper. And the PI continues to mantain its unmatched level of service quality. Plainly, all is well in Augusta!
