Beautiful Moms-to-be: Erika and Nell!

Rika is due in early September and Nell is due approximately one week and a day after her birthday. This shower was so much fun and so laid back. They should all be this easy! Not sure if Rika knew about the surprise shower but she definitely acted the part if she did know.

I am sure all of you are wondering what the story is on the second picture. You are looking at it correctly. I know, I did a double take too. It is definitely a creepy half naked man holding a naked infant. Cut to ten years ago. Megan had this hanging above her bed across the room from Erika and me. So weird. Apparently Megan didn't understand that we meant weird as in "weird" not as in, this is a bizarre art form that we would one day like to collect. However, in honor of our days a roomies, Megan gifted Erika and baby girl Parker her very own creepy naked man/baby picture. YAY!

Third from the top...who is surprised that Mary has "borrowed" baby Johnson's brand spanken new bib to catch the dribble from the gin and tonic? At least those are her colors...

The last picture is of Erika and Nell pretending to be excited about the melted gluten free cupcakes....oh well, we got most of the shower right. This definitely wasn't a weekend about overachieving and I am pretty sure the girls felt "showered" even though the cupcakes weren't the best in the world.
