2011

I do want to recognize it is the last day of a fabulous year!

2011 held many amazing moments and changes for us.

The most important moment in 2011 was finding out we were adding to our family.  We feel so blessed and are excited to meet our 3rd child!

We found out Richard matched at Duke, he graduated medical school and then we moved from Augusta, GA to Durham, NC! Whew! (all in 3 months time)

Mercer Anne & Woodson have changed and grown leaps and bounds.  They went from just a few words to entire (and I might add, quite articulate) sentances.  They express themselves daily verbally and non-verbally.  It has been so amazing to watch them grow and change.

I changed jobs from one that pays in actual dollar bills to one that pays in hugs and kisses. 

We lost two very special people, my Grandmother Rowe and my Addie.  Neither will be forgotten and we contiue to remember and love them - especially when we look back on our lives and know how they have helped shape who we are.

In 2011 I was able to keep blogging despite the many changes- lets just say that was no small feat.

2011 was amazing and we have high hopes for 2012.  I read on Kelly's Korner that last year her only goal was to "survive".  Honestly, that sounds like a pretty good goal for 2012.  Keeping track of three kids under 3 is enough.  If I am able to exercise more, lose the baby weight and be an overall better person in addition to surviving, I will take it, but I am not holding myself to it!
