We had such an amazing Christmas...it was spread out over three (yes I said 3!) weekends. The first weekends was with my Mom & Steve (JJ & Granddaddy) and Michael & Erica, which I have already posted about. The next weekend was actually Christmas and we spent the majority of it with just us:-) We also saw Nana & Taco & Margie. And for New Years, we visited Popi and MawMaw. I will spread out some of these because there were just too many.
Christmas Eve Richard was home (yay!) and we made cookies for Santa. As usual, the twins love to help:-)
And by helping, I mean eating as much cookie dough as possible, much to the chagrin of their Dad (raw egg). Honestly, the dough is my favorite part and yes, there is a risk, but the most fun part of making the cookies is eating the dough. So there. My kids will eat the dough, because I feel like it is the fun part of the cookie making.
They each received one gift on Christmas Eve which they were thrilled to find under the tree after naptime.
And the winner is....matching ELMO slippers. They did wear them a lot, but I think they make their feet hot because mostly they just want to play with the slippers.
Our friend Blake joined us for Christmas dinner and helped read stories before bedtime. The twins love him so it was extra fun for him to be there. They did have some trouble calming down, but eventually, they gave in.
