Santa came!

Santa came to our house - Woodson's loot above and Mercer Anne's loot below.

Mercer Anne is telling Woodson that Santa brought these gifts for him. MA is all over the Santa bringing "presents" thing. Taco asked her on Christmas Eve if she had been good and she said "no". In the same breath he asked her what Santa was going to bring her and she quickly replied "presents". She did this multiple times...it was cracking us up.

The sweetest thing they did was wake up to find candy canes on their bedside table and they carried them straight out to hang them on the tree:-) I love my babies!

Woodson needed some encouragement to go through his stocking so Dad was happy to help out. Here are some close-ups at their amazing stockings...which JJ needlepointed for us! They are really beautiful and such a special gift!

All in all we felt very blessed to have such a special morning with Mercer Anne and Woodson. They had a great time. We made cinnamon buns turned Christmas music on and played with our new toys like crazy! The twins stayed in their PJ's until we headed to Nana's house after nap. It was so fun to see the twins enjoy the morning. The only gift I wanted this Christmas was to have Richard at home instead of at the hospital...Santa must have been listening because it came true!!!
