artists in the making

 Saturday we headed over to Raleigh to visit Emily and her sweet children Whitley Grace and Ryland.  MA & Woodson were so shy at first but by the time it was time to go no one was ready to go.  We played outside, painted and visited their garden which is a few blocks down from their house.  We had a great time and I think we have some budding artists!

Please take note that Mercer Anne's side has distinct colors.  W prefers the purple/black color that comes from mixing them all together!  So different but oh-so-cute!

To keep me honest you will all be happy to know I squeezed in a run on BOTH Saturday and Sunday despite Richard working Sunday and being post-call Saturday.
