So we moved.

We moved yesterday.  Only for 3 months.  But still, it was an adventure to try and get 3 kids and all their stuff out the door and into one single suburban which also included the children.  But we did it. Thanks to JJ and Granddaddy for making it happen. 

My kids were thrilled to be leaving - can you tell?  Mercer Anne was the most excited...

We successfully arrived, unpacked and saw dad for the first time in a few weeks.  Ironically, Dad has known we were coming for 2 months now, but only after we arrived did he feel the need to go to the neighbors house, dis-assemble crib for our still crib-sleeping 2 year old, carry it over to our side of the townhouse and reassemble.  Yep.  This happens after the Rutherford children have had dinner and are all in PJs.  Details....

We have done some exploring and are happy to be reunited with our friends Ben (twins age) and Laura (my age) who used to live in Durham and are now full time Asheville residents.
