Its hot....

Its been hot here in Durham.  I would argue that I was more comfortable living in Augusta.  But I am sure if it is this hot here, it is hotter there. It doesn't matter. I am still sweating all the time.  Under my arms, through my shirt, behind my knees and all sorts of other undesireable places. So I decided to take the kids somewhere "cool".  I took them here:

that speed limit sign is more of a suggestion:  average witnessed speed = 65mph

Turns out, Pelican's is an outdoor joint with lots of other sweaty people and bees/ hornets.

Rather than buy the advertised "colorless" flavors, out of 100 options (there are literally this many including 3 variations of margarita flavored sno balls...) I stick with what I know, Grape, Strawberry and Cherry...aka Purple, Red and Redder.

You got it, on the nice, hot concrete. Straight to the hornets.  Down the front of the shirts.  Good thing I got an "extra". 

Next time, I'm bringing back up.
